It begins with a period of inquiry and discernment, helping candidates recognize God’s call. This is followed by basic formation, which builds a solid human and spiritual foundation. The stage of specific formation deepens consecrated life and missionary identity, before moving into advanced formation, which helps members mature and prepare themselves to serve the Church and humanity in the love of the Precious Blood of Christ.

Consecrated life in the Missionaries of the Precious Blood is founded on the mystery of Christ’s saving love, revealed in the Precious Blood He poured out for humanity. The missionary offers his entire life to contemplate, live, and proclaim this saving love, especially to the poor, the abandoned, and those who suffer. The pastoral ministry of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood is rooted in a spirituality of reconciliation, love, and the proclamation of the Gospel.
